Postcards Galore Posted on December 28, 2011September 7, 2021 by John Meise George Riemersma, 73, is a postcard collector from Milwaukee. He was diagnosed with cancer when he was 58 and was told by his doctors that he would never make it to 60. Now a 15-year cancer survivor, his collection boasts more than 20,000 postcards from 105 different countries. Riemersma says that he never expected the collection to reach the size it is today, and he has no plans to stop scouting for new treasures.
