Student Found Deceased Near Campus Posted on April 6, 2017April 6, 2017 by Miela Fetaw The body of a 38-year-old man was found on the corner of Kenwood and Murray late Tuesday night. The medical examiner identified the victim as Woo-Suk Jang. According to the medical examiner’s report, Jang collapsed around 12:15 Wednesday morning. He was found lying on the sidewalk around 12:30 a.m. UWM did not have a statement on the death. Michelle Johnson, Director of Media Services, confirmed the man was a student and “the death is not considered suspicious by police.” UWM Police Chief Joseph LeMire says Milwaukee Police is investigating the death. The official cause of death has been determined due to a heart attack. No other information has been released. According to the Medical Examiner’s office, police have reviewed video that shows Jang collapsing on the sidewalk.
