The Bicycle Courier

Tabby Llama-Ortiz is a bicycle courier for the Milwaukee bicycle delivery service Flavor Cycles. Flavor Cycles works with various restaurants around Milwaukee that give customers who are ordering food for delivery to have their meals delivered via bicycle. This has been becoming more and more popular in Milwaukee, a city with a huge bicycle culture that has been becoming more and more bike friendly.

Being a bicycle courier is more than just a job for Tabby. The pay isn’t very high, but the payoff is more than money. Through this job, she has become a part of the bicycle community, making many new friends and also learning a lot about biking, and she has also learned a lot about herself and her ability to push herself to her limits and succeed.
