Giannis Antetokounmpo and Four Other Dudes Lose To Boston Posted on July 20, 2022July 20, 2022 by Nick Becker With the NBA finals wrapping up 10 days ago and the Golden State Warriors being named NBA Champions, what better time than now to reminisce about the Milwaukee Bucks and what could’ve been this year. The Bucks lost in the second round of the playoffs this year to the Boston Celtics in the seventh and final game of the series. Milwaukee was trying to add on to their NBA championship last year with a repeat, but obviously couldn’t get it done. However, had a few breaks gone the Bucks way we could be sitting here having our second championship parade go down Water Street. Injuries are part of the game, and the Bucks may have not won their championship last year if a few players on the other teams weren’t hurt, but I can still complain alright. In my mind, if we take the Boston Celtics to Game 7 all while not having our second-best player, you can’t deny the odds are probably in our favor if we have him. Again, if’s and but’s are candies and nuts, BUT there’s no doubt in my mind we advance to the NBA Finals with a fully healthy squad. The left MCL injury of Bucks All-Star Khris Middleton is a Grade 2 sprain and he is expected to miss the entire second-round series vs. Celtics, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. The recovery of Grade 2 MCL places a potential Conference Finals in jeopardy for him as well.— Shams Charania (@ShamsCharania) April 28, 2022 I will always count my blessings though and being able to experience last year’s championship in downtown Milwaukee was magical. The Bucks looking ahead are still in the driver’s seat of the NBA. With new dynasty’s emerging and veteran talent surmounting, the road to the NBA Finals will not be an easy one. But as long as we have our little Greek Hero and his dad jokes, Milwaukee is in good hands.
