Real Music Gets Made

Natalie Powers is a third-year student at UWM that has been dedicated to orchestra since she was seven years old. The excitement of playing the viola keeps her motivated in every facet of her life, like it’s a reprieve from the noise of everything else (that isn’t a string arrangement, of course). The university’s new string orchestra has its premiere concert this spring, and Powers can’t wait to bask in the thrill of the performance. Olivia Davis with this short documentary.
