Shared Journeys: A Documentary

In this short documentary, Maggie Baisley introduces us to Erin Hanson-Baisley, a long-time educator who runs a school for pregnant and parenting teens. There, she is able to provide support by teaching them not only English, but also parenting and life skills. Shared Journeys has a built-in daycare for her students’ young children so they can focus on school each day without worrying about finding somewhere for their kids to go, and it has resources like a community closet to help provide baby clothes and other supplies necessary for raising a child.
