The Cowboys Make a Comeback Posted on December 15, 2025December 15, 2025 by Lasierra Flowers The Cowboys play against the Raiders after the sudden loss of one of their defensive linemen, Marshawn Kneeland. The game was very tough ending with 33-16 as the final score, but in honor of their teammates, every player’s heart was on that field. According to 5NBC News, the police and Marshawn Kneeland’s team released a statement that on Nov. 6th, Marshawn Kneeland, former player for the Cowboys, committed suicide after getting into a police chase in North Dallas, just two days after scoring his first touchdown in the Cowboys vs the Cardinals. According to TotalProSports, police were warned that Kneeland had expressed suicidal thoughts before he had been found. According to ESPN, counseling resources were made available to the players, coaches, and staff as they grieve and take a break. The following Monday they returned to practice. In honor of Kneeland, the players decorated his locker with flowers, made public posts dedicated to him, and gave a public tribute. They also paid tribute by showing his jersey in the locker room, on the field, and wearing his name on the pre-game shirts, and adding a sticker decal on their helmet. The game also raised a lot of noise because of how well the players played. Dak Prescott threw 268 yards and four touchdowns, completing 25 of 33 passes. This performance marked his fifth game of the season with three or more touchdown passes, breaking the franchise record previously held by Tony Romo. George Pickens had a standout game with nine receptions for 144 yards and a touchdown, significantly contributing to offensive success. CeeDee Lamb and Pickins have their best game together as the wide receiver duo despite being benched on the first offensive drive due to a coach’s decision. DeMarion Overshown returns after almost a year of significant knee injuries. Cowboy rookie cornerback Shavon Revel Jr makes his first NFL debut after recovering from a torn acl. Safety Malik Hooker returns after a stretch of games of a depleted injured secondary. Cowboy’s defensive tackles shined on defense led by newly acquired Quinnen Williams. Cowboy’s head coach, Brian Schottenheimer faces off against Raiders head coach, Pete Carroll in a ‘mentee vs mentor’ battle. DaRon Bland bounces back after one of his worst performances ever.
