Attracting Top Students

Robin Weigert began in the Honors College as a student in 1995. Since then she worked as the college’s office assistant, academic advisor and now as assistant director. In 2008-2009, student enrollment increased by 37% and is still rising. Fostering growth has been difficult because of the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee’s lack of space. Over the summer of 2011 Weigert and Honors College faculty moved the organization into the old Columbia St. Mary’s nursing residence hall.
