Covid-19 Vaccine Causes Nerves Posted on December 24, 2020December 24, 2020 by Shazdah-Lee Juniel The COVID-19 vaccine is getting a lot of mixed feelings from people questioning if it’s safe to be used. After a long couple of months of suffering and stocking up on cleaning supplies to keep your family safe from the coronavirus. A vaccination was in the making, but it was not finalized until recently when the order to release the vaccine was made. The vaccine is made of genes that codes Covid-19 to increase proteins in the body to help fight the virus. “I’m nervous to get the vaccine because the formula includes the virus,” said Karleene Wint, Medication Dispenser. “I have so many cons about it that outweigh the good. I’ve read so many articles about the virus and I know it’s not good to believe everything that you read but I’m honestly scared to take the vaccine. As long as it’s not mandatory I’m not taking it. I still get tested every Tuesday for work purposes.” Health officials haven’t made it clear who will receive the vaccination first, but over a million vaccines will be disbursed around the United States. It’s safe to say there are a lot of concerns regarding the vaccination and not a lot of people are jumping in line to receive the vaccine. “I’ll rather wait to take the vaccination to see how it affects everybody else,” said Prinston Juniel, Talent Acquisition Specialist. “I want to be protected from the virus but I don’t trust the vaccine. I understand it went through human trials but I’m also aware of the side effects and since I feel fine I am not taking it until it’s 100% perfect with no side effects.” However, there are a few people who are taking every precaution to ensure their family is protected from coronavirus. This vaccination can help people stay safe and slow down the spread of the virus. “Yes, I’m going to take the vaccine because I think it’s a smart decision,” said Phillip G, Director of the technology department. “ I understand the pros and cons, but this vaccine has been tested over and over again I think it’s smart to take every precaution to keep yourself safe. Plus I have a toddler I would hate for her to get anything just because my fear crowded my judgment.” Share this:Click to share on Twitter (Opens in new window)Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window)Click to share on LinkedIn (Opens in new window)Click to share on Reddit (Opens in new window)Click to print (Opens in new window)
