Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is one of the most adventurous and entertaining games I have played on Play Station 4. In this action-adventure video game, players take over a treasure hunter named, Nathan Drake. Finding the worlds treasures while escaping from enemies is a large task. The players need to make it to the treasure while facing many obstacles along the way. This game is a lot more than adventure, it also includes strategy with puzzles to get further. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the game players need to play on PS4.

This is the 4th edition to the Uncharted series, and it is the most advanced yet. As a lover of videogames, I have played all the games in the series. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is the most thrilling, and entertaining games I have played. This is comparable to other action-adventure games, but this has a unique story. Being a treasure hunter is very different than most of the war or alien adventure games out there. This video game is better compared to the other videogames in this genre for that reason. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is more realistic, with real places around the world and with breathtaking scenery such as Panama. The realism of the characters is refreshing. Seeing places around the world and culture’s I have never seen, is very intriguing. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End advances the genre with the realism of the videogame. Granted, a lot of Drake’s physical capabilities are questionable, but it makes the game a lot more enjoyable. Drake accomplishes the most physical capability than I ever will achieve in life. Otherwise the game is very authentic, while having unrealistic survival rates. Naughty Boy did an amazing job of having “A Thief’s End” be the best end of the series, and best in the genre. This videogame had a lot of hype from the fans of the Uncharted series. This game was released 5 years after Unchartered 3: Drake’s Deception, and boy was it worth the wait. Even though it seems like a long time to wait for the 4th game, it made up for it in the storyline and realism. My whole family was excited when we heard the news of the release, we bought the game on pre-order.

The game starts out when Nathan was young boy. It than leads up to how he became the treasure hunter he is today. The game than brings Nathan Drake to the present, where Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception left off. Nathan is now retired, until he meets back up with his brother Samuel. Samuel has other news for Nathan, when he convinces him to find Captain Henry Avery’s legendary fabled pirate treasure. As Nathan craves for adventure, he joins his brother on the quest. It is a third-person shooter game, and Nathan will have to use his gun probably more than he wants to. Players will have to shoot enemies, leap impossibly from buildings and achieve the treasure before anyone else. Most importantly, stay alive.

The plot is very intriguing and very well written. The characters are brought back from previous Uncharted games, which was wonderful to see. The characters make the game more lovable, and makes it seem as if they are real people. This differentiates other genres because many characters aren’t personable like they are in the series. The personalized characters make the game even more real, and relatable to the players. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End had an impact on the third-player adventure game and the graphics exceeded my expectations. The graphics in the characters faces were more advanced than the previous Uncharted games. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End was a step up in realism and graphics. Contrasting in other genres, I believe all games advanced with graphics as technology advanced. The game is a third-person shooter, which makes it easier to see surroundings in the game itself. This helps in seeing the games scenery, and easier to sneak up on enemies without being seen. This than results in making the game easier to play, and more enjoyable. The controls can be learned very quickly, and all tutorials are in the game as the player advances. The load time can be timely, but it is not out of the ordinary for a campaign to load. The game also features a multi-player accessible to all players. This makes a night in with friends very fun, while friends shoot down the enemies together. The soundtrack fits the genre perfectly, very adventurous. The Uncharted series uses similar soundtracks, as being something very memorable if a player is familiar.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, is one of the most enjoyable, and adventurous games I have ever played on the PS4. Naughty Dog did an amazing job producing the realism of the characters and the scenery. It makes the players escape reality and go into the world of Nathan Drake. Treasures are the key to this game, but also is staying alive. Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is something a player need to experience and will have an amazing time doing so. Still praying for Uncharted 5 to come out in the future.
