Media Milwaukee and Women’s March Videos Win National SPJ Awards Posted on May 23, 2018May 23, 2018 by Media Milwaukee staff Media Milwaukee is a national finalist for Best Independent Online Student Publication in the Society of Professional Journalists 2017 Mark of Excellence Awards, and UWM students’ coverage of the Women’s March on Madison is a national finalist in the Television General News Reporting category. Jenna Gaidosh, Tisia Muzinga, Stevan Stojanovic and Jenna Graham produced the winning videos. UW-Milwaukee journalists are in good company; SPJ national winners include student work from Northwestern, Columbia, Harvard and many schools with prestigious journalism programs.
