Wale’s Tweets Sparks Odd Food Controversy Posted on May 8, 2019May 8, 2019 by Taylor Stackman Rapper Wale started a debate on Twitter about an interesting combination he puts together when making a sandwich. Others have chimed in on their favorite odd food combinations. Should some of these even be legal? His combination… Turkey, bacon, egg, cheese and… Jelly? I don’t know who needs to hear this , but jelly 100 percent belongs on a TurkeyBaconEggNCheese Sandwich.— Wale (@Wale) April 25, 2019 However many people have tweeted the rapper saying that he’s right and it’s actually a common thing that people eat. Uh, if you say so. I guess don’t knock it until you try it. This girl even takes a shot of Jameson in the morning alongside that, strange combination of a sandwich. Am I even allowed to call it a sandwich? https://twitter.com/starcandee/status/1121397491398840321 I guess that’s one way to really wake a person up. Earlier in the week, Jackie Aina also shared her favorite food combination. https://twitter.com/jackieaina/status/1118318233201692672 I don’t even think I want to know what that tastes like and neither did the people in her replies. Does anyone know? Jackie who is holding you? Can you see any means of escape?— Gemma Tomlinson (@OMGgemma) April 17, 2019 Even Target is concerned. We don’t understand this but we have both.— Target (@Target) April 18, 2019 Which sparked others sharing their favorite food combinations… Honey & Mac&Cheese— The King of Reads (@TheKingofReads) April 17, 2019 Uh, okay. https://twitter.com/alextk991/status/1118435501835522048 What can we learn from all of this? The great thing about food is that it is so universal people can essentially do anything with it. Whether that be eating a hotdog but using a Twinkie as a bun or eating peas with applesauce. If you enjoy something, you enjoy it whether it’s weird or not. But some of the things people shared should definitely be illegal.
