Video of Urban Meyer and Woman in Ohio Restaurant Goes Viral Posted on December 3, 2021December 3, 2021 by Konrad Krueger JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A video of Jacksonville Jaguars coach Urban Meyer surfaced Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021, showing Meyer sitting in Urban’s Chophouse a restaurant in Columbus, Ohio with a woman. The coach has become a trending topic on Twitter and other platforms after the video went viral. The woman in the video, who was not his wife, was seen dancing on Meyer`s lap, while Meyer’s hand is between the two. He said he apologized to his family. “Of course, I did. That’s not me. Oh yeah, they were upset,” said Meyer. Shelley Meyer, the wife of Urban, wrote on Twitter and posted pictures of her babysitting while Urban was in Ohio. “Meanwhile, I am babysitting,” said Shelly on Twitter. She ended the tweet with hashtags “MyChoice” “MimiRules” “BuddyDeservedANightOut”. Meyer and Shelley have been married for 35 years and share three children. Shad Khan, the owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars said Meyer’s actions were inexcusable. “I have addressed this matter with Urban,” said Khan. “He must regain our trust and respect. That will require a personal commitment from Urban to everyone who supports, represents, or plays for our team. I am confident he will deliver.” “I appreciate Urban’s remorse, which I believe is sincere.” Meyer did not accompany his team back to Jacksonville after a 21-24 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday, Sep. 30. “I stayed to see the grandkids and we all went to dinner that night at a restaurant,” said Meyer. “There was a big group next to us and they all wanted to take pictures and they wanted to pull me out on the dance floor screwing around but I should’ve left.” Shelley Meyer wrote on the subject on Twitter Thursday afternoon, after the 2nd video surfaced. “We all make mistakes- we are all sinners. If you think you aren’t? then cast the stone. My wonderful followers/friends: THANK YOU,” said Shelly on Twitter. “For your love, support, friendship, laughs- I will miss this the most. I love you ALL and wish God’s blessings on you.” Shelley later deleted her Twitter account. Meyer coached college at Ohio State, Florida, Bowling Green, and Utah for a combined total of 187-32. The Jaguars, now 0-4 on the season, following the loss to the Bengals after holding a 14- 0 halftime lead, Evan McPherson won the game with a 35-yard field goal. Meyer just started his career in the NFL and already is in hot water. The Jaguars have lost 19 consecutive games since last season and are close to tying the record for most consecutive losses at 29 The Jaguars are set to take on the Tennessee Titans on Sunday.
